Visita Istituzionale Onorevole Walter Rizzetto PRESIDENTE della XI COMMISSIONE (LAVORO PUBBLICO E PRIVATO)
Below is the comment and thanks from Andrea Lazzarini, CEO of Ralc Italia, at the conclusion of the meeting.
On Friday, March 21st, 2025, we had the honor of hosting Hon. Walter Rizzetto, President of the Labor Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, at the headquarters of RALC Italia Srl. He was accompanied by Paride Cargnelutti and the Deputy Mayor of Carlino, Mirco Flebus, for a meeting of significant institutional importance and strategic content.
The initiative saw the participation of over 40 companies from COSEF (formerly ZIAC), along with numerous entrepreneurs from the region, including those not directly based in the industrial area. This strong turnout is a clear sign of the local business community’s interest in initiating and maintaining an open and constructive dialogue with institutions.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Hon. Rizzetto for his availability, competence, and the pragmatic approach he brought to the many topics discussed during the meeting. His prior experience in the world of labor and business, before entering politics, added great value to the discussion, making it both genuine and practical.
During the meeting, we addressed several highly relevant and strategically impactful topics: innovation, welfare, artificial intelligence, internationalization, labor policies, and social sustainability. Particularly noteworthy were the reflections on measures such as the legal minimum wage and the four-day workweek, regarding which the Honorable clearly outlined the potential challenges of implementation across various productive sectors.
A particularly meaningful moment of the meeting centered on the topic of education and strengthening the relationship between schools and businesses—essential for the development of future skills. Hon. Rizzetto also presented some important legislative initiatives, including the introduction of school modules dedicated to workplace safety, a subject that is especially close to our hearts.
In my speech, I had the pleasure of sharing RALC’s journey, as we celebrate 35 years of activity this year. Despite the uncertainty of the global context, we anticipate a volume growth of over 35% in 2025, thanks to a business model based on flexibility, technological innovation, continuous research, and a strong international outlook. Today, over 60% of our turnover comes from abroad, in highly competitive and selective markets.
We also addressed the crucial topic of corporate welfare, which we consider a key tool for attracting, retaining, and valuing skilled technical personnel—an increasingly scarce yet essential resource for business growth.
In conclusion, I extended my warmest wishes to the new President of Confindustria Udine, Luigino Pozzo. We are confident that, under his leadership, a strong point of reference will be rebuilt for all local companies, and inter-association dialogue will be strengthened—even beyond provincial borders—to face future challenges with vision and unity.
We hope this meeting marks the first step in a structured and ongoing dialogue between the business world and political institutions—now more necessary than ever to promote forward-looking policies and support solid, inclusive, and sustainable economic and social development.
A special thanks to the entire RALC Italia Srl team, who once again proudly demonstrated what it means to be present and recognized in much of the world.
Finally, congratulations to our Davide Cristin for the excellent photographic contribution: https://davidecristin.com/
